Adam Lambert: “Mad World”
I love this song. I love how Tears for Fears first delivered it to us, and I love how Gary Jules sang it.
There’s something unsettling about Adam Lambert’s persona: the way he oscillates between goth-like make-up one day and then into a polished look the next; how he screams, how he's more into his own confidence rather than the emotion of the song; how the arm gestures are rehearsed, how he looks at the camera, how he interacts with the crowd. It’s not rock, it’s broadway.

I agree. I don't buy into Adam Lambert at all. He's a rock poseur.
